Starting February 14, 2024, international visitors to Bali will be subject to a one-time fee of IDR 150,000 per visit or arrival. Payment can be made in advance through lovebali.baliprov.go.id. After payment a QR code will be sent to the email for scanning at checkpoints in Ngurah Rai International Airport or sea ports.

Upon check-in, guests are required to provide a credit card or cash deposit of RP 1,500,000 for each night of stay for incidentals. Please note that the deposit is in addition to full payment of room and tax. Please note that booking payment with Virtual Credit Card (VCC) is not accepted.

AYANA & RIMBA Guest can enjoy breakfast at PADI,Karang and To'Ge restaurant. Villa guests enjoy a la carte breakfast at Dava Restaurant.

The local currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). As currency often fluctuates, we recommend that you check the exchange rate prior to your departure to Bali. A currency exchange service is available at the authorized money changer at AYANA Resort Bali Lobby and RIMBA by AYANA Bali retail area. You can also exchange money or cash traveler’s checks at banks and local money changers. ATMs are available in major tourist areas. Generally, credit cards and traveler's checks can be used at major hotels and restaurants; however, please be advised that some smaller establishments and more remote tourist areas only accept cash. According to a regulation of the nation’s central bank, Bank Indonesia, all cash payments must be in IDR.

You may only bring in to Indonesia a maximum of 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 100g of sliced tobacco, as well as two liters of alcohol. Narcotics are strictly prohibited.

Cotton or lightweight clothing is suitable for daywear. Light cotton, viscose, or silk clothes are most comfortable to wear in this warm climate (linen is usually too heavy). It is preferred to avoid immodest clothing when visiting temples.

The safety and privacy of our guests, employees, and property are of primary concern to AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI. The unauthorized use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), including, but not limited to, drones and radio-controlled aircraft and devices, by the public, employees, or guests is strictly prohibited at AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI. Any violation of this policy may cause confiscation of the equipment. To mark the Balinese Hindu New Year, the Balinese celebrate an annual ‘Day of Silence’ known as Nyepi. It is a wonderful time to visit the island, for guests who are interested in the unique traditions that underpin Balinese Hinduism. A spectacular procedure of ceremonies, parades of great bamboo monsters, and fireworks occur on the Eve of Nyepi, followed by a day of total silence and seclusion when the Balinese will pray and meditate to cleanse the island of evil spirits. A choice between a multi-purpose vehicle, a large capacity van, a luxury minivan, and a luxury sedan is available for transportation around the island. Hourly charter requires a minimum booking of three hours. The Multi-Purpose vehicle (Toyota Innova) is priced at IDR 924.000 net for the first three hours, with extra hours at IDR 308.000 net per hour. The luxury minivan (Toyota Alphard) is priced at IDR 1.848.000 net for the first three hours, with extra hours at IDR 616.000 net per hour. Taxis are available from the hotel upon request. Bookings in advance are required.

Indonesian Government grants visas on arrival to 63 countries, whose citizens can purchase their Tourist Visa upon arrival at the airport, without applying in their home country first. Citizens from countries not included in the Visa on Arrival scheme must apply for a visa before arriving in Indonesia. Please contact the Indonesian consulate in your country for further details.

The weather in Bali is generally hot and humid throughout the year. Temperature ranges from 24 - 32 degrees Celsius (75 - 89 degrees Fahrenheit). Bali has two distinct seasons. The rainy season occurs generally around November through April. Precipitation falls mainly during the late afternoon and early evening hours. The dry season generally occurs around May through October.
